Bamboo Thicket

This… well, this was originally a scarf I did with ironing-fixed paints in the Wet-in-Wet technique, but it ended up being nearly pastel-white, much to my dissatisfaction, so I overdyed it with Procion MX Aquamarine. Unfortunately, that stuff is so intense it killed nearly all the nuances but the dark grey end, so, in my continuing dismay, I took a stencil of bamboo stems, some dye thickener and black Dupont silk dye mixed with cyan and… viola, a Bamboo Thicket Scarf! Despite all the mishaps, I'm quite happy with this.
